What vision do you have for your future? For your life? For your business? Who is part of your journey?
Granted, we should never prejudge who our business would be a good fit for or who might like/want/need what we have to offer….however…..
Let me offer you this-
What if you were clear about who you wanted to work with, to partner with, to run with in your business?
What if you had the qualities of who your ideal business partner would be clearly defined, and then you set out to look for those people?
What if we worked on becoming that person ourselves?
What if we met with those people, shared our vision with them, and asked them what their vision was for themselves and their future?
I believe when we get to know people, invite them to take a look at what we have to offer, we get to know them, find out their goals, their dreams, and potentially have the opportunity to work together. To build something TOGETHER. They no longer become just a business partner, they quite possibly become a friend, extended family member, and together, empowering each other to live your best life possible!
So if you get to decide who you want to partner with, who you want to help make a difference for, who you’d like to run with and create memories together for many years to come, who are they? What qualities do they possess? Be as clear and specific as you possibly can. What qualities are important to you? Do you feel are important in your business? For success? Words that come to mind for me are: self-starter, hungry to learn, coachable, determined, willing, heart-centered, fun, has a sense of humor, honest, capable, etc. What comes to mind for you?
I have found when I am clear, focused, and share my vision with those I sit down with, that my business is much easier to do. I attract the right people. I actually work LESS, not MORE! My business is so much more fun…. which causes me to want to do more with it, which then causes me to attract more goodness, and the cycle continues!
If you haven’t yet, create a vision for your life. If time and money were not an issue, how would you live your life? What would you do with your 168 hours in a week? 24 hours in a day? Most people spend 50 of those hours working for someone else. 18 hours a week in traffic. And the rest of the time is filled with minutia. Take a moment and truly consider what it would be like if you had total control over that time. What would you do? How would you live? And who is a part of your journey?
We just have to decide our dreams are worth it, and then commit to the daily/weekly activities to make those dreams a reality. Focus on what you want, who you want to be and who you want to share your life experiences with, be disciplined about your efforts, and amazing things will happen!
